WHAT NOT TO ENGRAVE ON YOUR BIKE

    Just wanted to say I really liked your book and am recommending it to friends. I did, however, find one thing that should be changed.
    In the anti-theft section you recommend engraving a bike with your Social Security number. That’s not a good idea with today’s level of identity theft. You might want to change this in the next edition.
    Otherwise, great book. Keep up the good work.

    And imagine the indignity: First he steals your bike, then impersonates you! Thanks for the feedback.
    Some have suggested engraving your driver’s license number—which, if you leave out the hyphens, people might not recognize. But maybe in this case simplest works best—use your name.
